Starting to Feel Like Myself Again

Today is Wednesday, six days since the surgery. I am starting to finally feel like me again. I am able to concentrate and not be in constant pain and discomfort. Some of that is Harriet putting some bandages on my irritated skin. What a relief that is!

Yesterday, I did a smidge of work and I am about to do some more today. Not my usual work days, but I have to stay on top of a few things.

I so appreciate everyone’s prayers. They most certainly have helped me get through this difficult time.

Tomorrow is the follow up appointment with the surgeon and I am praying that the 2 drains I have will be removed at that appointment. The drains are what cause me the most discomfort. I also have some sort of machine hooked up to me that is on the main incision where they removed the cancer. I think that will remain for a bit longer. It is supposed to stimulate the area for quicker healing.

That is all for now – off to talk to a nutritionist – so we can eat better around here!

  1. Glad everything went well.I’m sure your back appreciates the decrease in size of your tits! You can know get a skimpy bra and wear a low cut shirt to show them off!😭 Hope your recovery goes smoothly.
